想請教there/it 做subject的用法，很多時好像是兩種都可以用，但用法又不同，請問如何可較容易分辨，當中有何重點？
例如
There is no denying that social media plays an important role in people’s childhood.
There is no denying that…….是準確的。
但如此句改用
It is no denying that ………就是錯誤的，要給改成
It cannot be denied that ……才對，為甚麼呢？
如何才能寫對there/it 用作這類subject的句子，避免出錯，當中有何原則嗎？
這個問題問得好好，我會咁理解及記憶：
There is+S 是7號句型；
It is +adj. that 是5號句型，運用緊formal subject 【關於formal subject 在AE 有教】，而5號句型的predicate/complement 大部份都用adj., 用n. 是較少的。【E版已講過】
而no denying 是noun phrase , 適合當Subject ，所以，用7號是較合理，這時習慣上不用5號。
如果想用5號，deniable 是adj. 會更適合。所以，There is no denying that…=It is undeniable that..
其中不能混淆的原因是這，希望能解答到你。
而It cannot be denied that 是一種被動式套用formal subject 的語法結構，這樣寫也行，在AE會教點拆。
