    Cramming Education

It was 3:30pm. The school bell finally chimed. The head teacher handed over a list of vocabulary and a pile of writing exercises to Mary, ending such a torturous day. No, it hadn’t ended yet. Mary swiftly strapped her backpack and headed over to Mong Kok and trotted for an intensive tutorial class held by a so-called star tutor. What also awaited her back home was an array of past papers on her writing desk. At night, Mary peered through the window, wondering if she could finish all the papers before 3 am, hopefully.

We have lots of students in our city who are living in this similar scenario under the cramming education system.

A family scene – cellphone at hand

A wife wanted to ask advice about changing jobs from her husband. The husband seemed like indifferent and cool, holding his cellphone at hand on the sofa. Later, the wife found out that her husband had his mind stuffed with online games, leaving no room for listening to her inner voice.

We might see our family members day after day. To be honest, it is not an easy job to hear their inner voice. Maybe we are too familiar with or we are too aloof of.
